Tchenguiz: Paul co-led the team acting for Grant Thornton UK LLP, and two of its former partners, in their successful defence of the high-profile £multibillion claims brought by Vincent and Robert Tchenguiz (and companies associated with them), arising from the collapse of Kaupthing Bank Hf and a well-publicised investigation by the Serious Fraud Office. The case featured in The Lawyer’s top 20 cases of 2018.

Gemfields: Paul led the mining company’s defence of a mass tort claim brought in the English High Court by a group of residents of Mozambique.

Led investigations on behalf of two global asset managers in relation to allegations regarding investment processes, including alleged conflicts of interest.

Acted for numerous global financial institutions (including a multitude of institutional managers, hedge funds and banks) in relation to media publications, social media takedowns and reputation management strategies arising from current news events, regulatory matters (including investigations) and ongoing or potential litigation.
